Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain kernel security features for PlayStation systems.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement security improvements.
- Debug and resolve sophisticated security issues within the kernel.
- Supervise and analyze security threats to determine the best course of action.
- Assist with open-source projects associated with kernel security.
- Maintain code quality through meticulous testing and code reviews.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C programming languages; C++ knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with kernel development; freeBSD knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge in kernel security concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
- Excellent debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a cooperative group.
