Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain kernel security features for PlayStation systems.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to implement security improvements.
- Debug and resolve sophisticated security issues within the kernel.
- Monitor and analyze security threats to determine appropriate actions.
- Assist with open-source projects related to kernel security.
- Maintain code quality through testing and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C; C++ is a plus.
- Experience with kernel development; FreeBSD knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of kernel security concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Advanced operating systems and low-level programming knowledge is preferred.
- Experience contributing to widely recognized open-source projects is preferred.
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry are preferred.
