- Design, develop, optimize, automate, and deliver mobile application features.
- Plan and deliver work through backlog grooming, sprint execution, and production releases.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, AI capabilities, engineering practices, and technical direction.
- Support deployments, monitoring, production health, and ongoing support for delivered features.
- Identify and resolve technical risks and technical debt while escalating blockers appropriately.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing and team capability development.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification or degree in computer science.
- At least 5 years of experience specifically as a mobile developer.
- Experience building mobile applications with React Native or native iOS/Android technologies and modern web frameworks.
- Strong proficiency with the React Native ecosystem, including Redux, actions, reducers, sagas, hooks, and component lifecycle management.
- Frontend experience with React and/or Angular using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Backend awareness and exposure to RESTful services and Web API design and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience with Service-Oriented Architectures.
- Proficiency in Jest, unit testing, and TDD/BDD approaches.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Xcode.
- Understanding of mobile accessibility standards and best practices.
