Base Salary
$86k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft Security value propositions, including Zero Trust, modern SOC, cloud adoption, digital transformation, and secure AI adoption.
- Define secure strategies, architectures, and implementations aligned with Azure and Microsoft 365 E5 Security and Compliance services.
- Perform hands-on operationalization of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra, and related native security solutions.
- Architect secure, scalable, maintainable, reliable, and well-designed Azure solutions that meet business, IT, regulatory, and compliance needs.
- Run architectural design sessions, govern solution designs, troubleshoot technical issues, and guide implementations toward production.
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborate with Microsoft security, engineering, product, and Cloud Solution Architect teams, and orchestrate technical resources.
- Travel approximately 25% overnight for employees within commuting distance and up to 75% for those outside commuting distance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.
- Ability to pass Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required because of applicable citizenship-based restrictions.
- Strong customer-facing experience and ability to lead technical security architecture discussions with senior customer executives, security architects, enterprise architects, IT management, and developers.
