Base Salary
$197k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and architect the cloud-native Stream Governance platform.
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex backend services.
- Drive projects from requirements and design through implementation and operation.
- Make architecture and technical decisions balancing reliability and scalability.
- Mentor and support engineers through code and design reviews.
- Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of the technology stack.
- Manage and maintain a mission-critical service with a 99.99 SLA.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to execute the roadmap for the Data Streaming Platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating backend systems in production.
- Proficiency in at least one major backend programming language.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Experience running production services in a public cloud environment.
- Expertise in cloud-native technology and security.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, engineering, or related field.
