Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end enterprise solutions and experiences using OpenText products and professional services.
- Work directly with strategic clients to understand business requirements, use cases, challenges, and future roadmaps.
- Develop complex application modules while considering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create technical designs, recommend design choices, estimate work, and support task planning and allocation.
- Review architecture, source code, and solution quality while taking defect-prevention measures.
- Facilitate client and partner workshops, best-practice sessions, and educational sessions.
- Manage requirements and change requests and maintain consistent stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, leadership, and strategic partners on client solutions.
- Mentor technical architects and senior engineers and support their professional development.
- Build demos for marketing, analyst briefings, and pre-sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, design, and business consulting skills.
- Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, BPM, CEM, ECM, reporting, and data visualization.
- Experience designing effective end-user experiences for dashboards and data visualizations.
- Hands-on experience with Actuate-BIRT/BDA Analytics is preferred.
- Experience in public sector, banking, financial services, or insurance domains.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and software estimation.
- In-depth knowledge of service-oriented architecture, W3C standards, object orientation, Java, J2EE, Web 2.0 technologies, SQL, databases, and data modeling.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, technical design, and testing concepts.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and interacting with clients.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and clearly document design choices and rationale.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
