Responsibilities
- Develop power-efficient, low-latency machine-perception vision systems for VR/AR products.
- Build training and data collection or generation pipelines and develop ML algorithms for scene and user-behavior understanding.
- Map ML algorithms to hardware accelerators, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance and efficiency.
- Propose hardware/software co-design improvements for AI accelerators.
- Translate system requirements into cloud-edge workload partitioning and edge ML accelerator hardware/software requirements.
- Evaluate systems quantitatively using system modeling and FPGA prototyping.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a PhD in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Research experience in ML algorithms or AI accelerator design.
- Experience with C/C++, MATLAB, or Python.
- Familiarity with appropriate ML frameworks is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for new technologies are preferred.
