Responsibilities
- Design and develop LLM-based analytical solutions, multi-model architectures, and agentic systems that interact with tools, APIs, external knowledge sources, and ML models.
- Build agentic harnesses, reasoning and orchestration workflows, domain knowledge bases, datasets, inference pipelines, and backend services.
- Integrate AI models with BBVA APIs, corporate systems, and business operations, progressing solutions from prototypes to production.
- Evaluate and compare foundation models for language, voice, and multimodal use cases using technical and business metrics.
- Construct training, validation, and evaluation datasets and adapt generative and discriminative models through fine-tuning or equivalent techniques.
- Research advances in LLMs, foundation models, NLP, generative AI, and agentic architectures, and communicate technical concepts to internal audiences.
- Deploy AI applications on cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure and support ML observability, monitoring, and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- Solid experience with cloud architectures and AI/ML solution design, development, and implementation, including AWS and GCP.
- Experience building agentic harnesses and developing applications or prototypes with tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Experience with the complete ML and NLP project lifecycle, including exploratory data analysis, dataset construction, model training, evaluation, monitoring, production analytics solutions, ML pipelines, and inference services.
- Experience with MLOps, including pipeline automation, continuous integration and deployment, model observability, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code, such as CloudFormation, and experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong Python programming skills; TypeScript or Node.js experience is valued.
- Experience with LLM and agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Agents SDK, and AWS Strands or equivalent tools.
- Experience using coding agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud companies such as AWS or Google, engineering or IT teams, on-premise environments, or the banking sector is valued.
- English-language ability, machine learning, object-oriented programming, and TensorFlow knowledge.
