Responsibilities
- Investigate pain points across development teams and deliver scalable self-service solutions that improve developer experience.
- Design and implement frontend, backend, and infrastructure architecture, APIs, boilerplates, and technical solutions.
- Develop robust backend and BFF services using .NET Core, C#, Node.js, NestJS, and Express.
- Build modular, high-performance React and TypeScript or Next.js frontends using micro-frontend architecture.
- Design and consume resilient REST APIs with circuit breakers, retries, and rate limiting.
- Manage Docker images and containers and deploy and administer applications in Kubernetes clusters.
- Create CI pipelines for build automation, testing, static analysis, and image publishing, and implement GitOps and continuous deployment workflows.
- Implement authentication, state management, observability, feature flags, internal developer portals, and supporting documentation.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve developer workflow blockers, communicate architectural decisions, and conduct internal workshops.
Requirements
- Advanced experience developing scalable backend services with .NET Core, C#, and Node.js using NestJS or Express.
- Expertise with React and TypeScript or Next.js for complex, modular frontend applications.
- Hands-on experience with Webpack or Vite Module Federation, shared scopes, and error isolation using Error Boundaries.
- Experience with OIDC and OAuth2 authentication flows and global or context state management.
- Demonstrable experience optimizing and securing Docker containers, including multi-stage builds.
- Experience deploying and administering applications in Kubernetes clusters, including deployments, services, ingresses, and configmaps.
- Experience creating CI pipelines, automated unit and integration testing, static code analysis, image registries, GitOps, and continuous deployment.
- Practical experience with resilient REST API design and consumption.
- Strong communication, documentation, autonomy, pragmatism, and developer-experience focus.
- Nice-to-have experience with Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, AI agents, conversational interfaces, multicloud environments, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Feature Flags, and Backstage.
