Responsibilities
- Build and operate cross-cutting platform services and APIs, including authentication and configuration.
- Automate CDN, WAF, and API gateway delivery using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD.
- Own deployment and release pipelines with GitHub Actions and Argo CD on Kubernetes across countries and environments.
- Migrate existing pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.
- Build scripts, CLIs, and internal tooling for platform users and other engineering teams.
- Operate production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, secrets management, and security remediation.
- Lead dependency upgrades and provide migration guides for adopting teams.
- Coordinate platform changes across partner teams and time zones, communicate risks, and drive topics to completion.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including significant platform or DevOps work.
- Experience building cross-cutting services with Java and Spring Boot, including API design.
- Working proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and Node.js for scripting, API gateway policies, and tooling.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Kubernetes, and Helm for CI/CD, GitOps, deployment, and operations.
- Experience operating production systems on a cloud platform such as AWS, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and secrets management.
- Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, tokens, CORS, Content Security Policy, CDN caching, and API gateways.
- Fluent English, strong technical writing skills, and experience driving work across teams without direct management authority.
- Practical experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including validating generated output.
- Experience with Angular and micro-frontend architecture such as Module Federation is preferred.
- Experience with Akamai, Apigee, Dynatrace, Terraform, or Jenkins-to-GitHub-Actions pipeline migrations is preferred.
