Responsibilities
- Own and develop iOS and Android mobile apps from design and implementation through release and maintenance.
- Build and improve the bridge between web experiences and native device capabilities.
- Manage App Store and Google Play submissions, review and compliance processes, and mobile release tooling.
- Diagnose and resolve native-specific bugs and performance issues, including cold-start and crash-handling problems.
- Contribute across other products and platform features as a full-stack engineer.
- Collaborate with product, design, and clinicians to translate real-world needs into user experiences.
- Help establish standards for building, testing, and shipping mobile applications.
Requirements
- Strong production experience building and shipping mobile applications, preferably in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
- Hands-on native iOS and/or Android development experience using Swift, Kotlin, or similar technologies.
- Experience shipping and maintaining applications through the App Store and Google Play, including review and compliance cycles.
- Experience working with web views and web-to-native connections.
- A product mindset focused on user outcomes.
- Strong ownership and experience working in high-pace environments while wearing multiple hats.
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
- Healthcare systems or regulated-environment experience is preferred.
- Experience with push notifications, authentication flows, native device integrations, gradual web-to-native migrations, mobile release tooling, audio-related features, or real-time mobile features is advantageous.
