Responsibilities
- Build, improve, and maintain native iOS features for customer-facing journeys.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to turn customer and business needs into reliable mobile experiences.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, launch, and ongoing ownership of product initiatives.
- Use server-driven UI to build configurable, component-based views.
- Make technical decisions involving architecture, testing, performance, observability, release processes, and maintainability.
- Collaborate across teams contributing to the same application to ensure effective integrations and shared patterns.
- Support and mentor full-stack engineers developing mobile expertise.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve engineering productivity while validating quality and security.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and shipping high-quality native iOS applications using modern iOS development practices.
- Experience with large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications, preferably where multiple teams contribute to the same app.
- Knowledge of mobile architecture, testing, performance optimization, observability, modularity, CI/CD, and App Store release processes.
- Experience partnering with product and design teams to solve customer problems.
- A pragmatic, product-minded approach balancing quality, speed, and maintainability.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or enabling other engineers, especially those developing mobile skills.
- Practical experience using AI in an engineering toolkit with strong validation and quality judgment.
- Android development and/or backend engineering experience is a strong plus.
