Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate production services and APIs for privacy and governance capabilities.
- Build self-service tooling that simplifies privacy and governance controls for product and data teams.
- Develop systems for data subject request handling, data classification, and access management.
- Encode accountability models and governance scorecards into automated rules and workflows.
- Own services through their full lifecycle, including design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with product, legal, and governance teams to create reliable systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience building services and APIs at scale.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
- Experience with data systems such as NoSQL stores or data warehouses.
