Base Salary

$140k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate production services and APIs for privacy and governance capabilities.
  • Build self-service tooling that simplifies privacy and governance controls for product and data teams.
  • Develop systems for data subject request handling, data classification, and access management.
  • Encode accountability models and governance scorecards into automated rules and workflows.
  • Own services through their full lifecycle, including design, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers.
  • Collaborate with product, legal, and governance teams to create reliable systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • Experience building services and APIs at scale.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with data systems such as NoSQL stores or data warehouses.
