
Software Engineer, Ad-Tech

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve robust data platforms, backend systems, and services.
- Influence architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and grow into a technical authority across teams.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define system boundaries, APIs, processes, and technical direction.
- Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and operability across critical systems.
- Design and implement efficient, resilient data storage and data access patterns.
- Write maintainable, high-quality code and promote quality, testing, and documentation practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements.
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and approaches that provide clear value.
- Mentor and coach engineers across teams and help raise the engineering bar.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with multiple programming languages, including Rust, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
- Experience with architectural patterns and building scalable systems.
- Ability to solve complex problems and make sound technical decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor engineers.
- Preferred experience with agentic frameworks and AI-driven software development workflows.
- Preferred experience with containers and cloud-native environments.
- Preferred experience working with large data and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with TDD and Spec Driven Development.
- Preferred experience with ad-tech solutions applied to SSPs and DSPs.
