Base Salary
$270k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the information architecture, style, and editorial standards of the unified Claude Docs site
- Design, build, and run self-healing documentation pipelines, AI-assisted review and maintenance, and quality guardrails
- Establish conventions and tooling that product teams use to keep their documentation accurate and consistent
- Maintain style guides, content types, and workflows for creating, reviewing, and publishing documentation
- Curate company-wide documentation contributions by editing, pruning stale content, and integrating new material
- Define and track content quality and discoverability measures and use reader feedback and analytics to drive improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience at the intersection of documentation, user education, and software engineering
- Knowledge of evaluation frameworks or observability for AI-powered systems
- Experience guiding a documentation platform migration or redesign
- Experience with content analytics and experimentation
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and testing
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills
- Experience establishing editorial standards and information architecture for a substantial technical documentation site
- Strong candidates may have production software engineering experience with Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Strong candidates may have experience building automated documentation or content systems and AI-powered tooling with LLMs
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field
