Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex enterprise solutions, including technical specifications, data models, integration strategies, and deployment plans.
- Translate client and business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical architectures.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms, and frameworks and maintain high-level designs, low-level designs, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, conduct technical and code reviews, and ensure architectural standards are followed.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to solution stability, security, and performance.
- Present technical solutions to prospective clients and contribute to presales proposals.
- Mentor junior architects and technical team members and stay current with emerging technologies and industry practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including at least five years in a Solution Architect role, preferably in consulting or enterprise software.
- Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise-grade solutions across areas such as cloud, data analytics, IoT, and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns and principles, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first approaches.
- Expertise in one or more of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
- Strong technical knowledge of storage, servers, backup, AI, cyber resiliency, disaster recovery, and virtualization solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
