Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture across supply chain, merchandising, store technology, and digital commerce domains.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
- Create solution diagrams, design patterns, integration designs, logical and component diagrams, API specifications, data flows, and other architecture artifacts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to align technical execution with business outcomes.
- Design integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, data flows, and consistent enterprise data models.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed and support risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and modernization initiatives.
- Evaluate platforms, tools, and vendor solutions and drive adoption of cloud, API-first, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions in the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, merchandising, and retail business domains.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-driven solutions, particularly Azure and Azure Kubernetes Services.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to produce solution architecture diagrams, system integration designs, logical diagrams, component diagrams, and API/interface specifications.
- Deep knowledge of retail and supply chain platforms, including order management, warehouse management, transportation management, merchandising management, POS, and digital commerce systems.
- Experience designing and implementing API-led architectures, event-driven architectures, microservices-based solutions, and enterprise integration patterns.
