Base Salary
$139k - $249k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with studios using Maya to understand pipelines and build workflow solutions and improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with developers, UX designers, QA, and product owners to troubleshoot and develop product fixes and enhancements.
- Develop high-quality code, write functional tests, and contribute to technical designs.
- Advise customers, diagnose technical issues, communicate solutions, and develop fixes that support their production success.
- Contribute to the Autodesk Consulting Media and Entertainment team and travel occasionally to customer sites or Autodesk offices as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering and/or production experience, ideally developing Maya tools and workflows with C++ or Python APIs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of game and/or film production pipelines.
- Strong coding proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, organizational, and customer communication skills.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and Codex or similar coding-assistance tools.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Preferred: experience with Arnold, 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, Flow Production Tracking, Flow Capture, or RV.
- Preferred: familiarity with C# or Unreal or Unity game engines.
