Responsibilities
- Conduct workflow discovery and process assessments to identify opportunities for AI-driven efficiency improvements.
- Build and maintain an opportunity backlog with business cases and effort estimates.
- Gather requirements through workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Design, build, integrate, deploy, and hand off AI-assisted solutions within existing software systems.
- Redesign supporting processes, document workflows, manage change, and measure post-implementation efficiency gains.
- Communicate technical work, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to business leaders and executives.
- Create AI guidance, playbooks, and lightweight training for internal teams.
- Support responsible AI governance through attention to privacy, access controls, auditability, policy alignment, and risk management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or software development delivering measurable business improvements.
- Experience conducting process assessments or workflow analysis and owning improvement roadmaps.
- Experience gathering requirements and communicating technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in a general-purpose programming language, preferably Python; Java or JavaScript experience is also valued.
- Experience building integrations, automating workflows, and working within existing software systems.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted capabilities into business workflows using APIs and platforms; ML model development is not required.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including managed services and API connectivity.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Claude or Copilot is a plus.
- Comfort working with structured data, SQL queries, and business reporting tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and executive presentation skills.
