Responsibilities
- Own and drive development of an AI-powered reliability assistant.
- Retrieve relevant context from observability tools, GitHub, deployment histories, past incidents, playbooks, and other disparate data sources.
- Develop LLM-powered features that transform raw data into actionable insights for incident response.
- Implement evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance in real-world production scenarios.
- Build and refine retrieval-augmented generation, agent, and AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to iterate quickly and ship features.
- Design systems that scale effectively as the product grows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend engineering experience building and shipping complex, production-grade systems.
- Experience building AI-powered applications and experimenting with LLM agents.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and search.
- Deep familiarity with AI development frameworks and current practices for building intelligent agents.
- Experience evaluating AI systems in production and refining models and workflows.
- Passion for AI and reliability engineering and awareness of current AI research, trends, and technologies.
- Strong communication, product judgment, ownership, execution, and collaboration skills.
