Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship scalable, efficient, reusable frontend and backend applications.
- Own features end-to-end from problem definition and design through development, deployment, and production operation.
- Use AI coding tools for development, test generation, debugging, code improvement, and solution exploration.
- Apply AI-native software development practices across design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, security, and engineering quality.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering teams to solve ambiguous customer problems.
- Contribute through design reviews, code reviews, testing, documentation, mentoring, and technical problem-solving.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS or another modern frontend framework.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies, including production-grade services.
- Experience building and integrating end-to-end full-stack applications.
- Understanding of REST APIs, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code is required.
- Understanding of AIDLC and AI-native practices including AI-assisted coding, test generation, debugging, code review, documentation, and iterative development.
- Strong problem-solving, systems-thinking, ownership, curiosity, judgment, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience includes agentic AI applications or workflows, LLMs, RAG, tool calling, MCP, AI agents, agent orchestration, multi-agent systems, AI integrations, and evaluating or monitoring AI-powered systems.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
