Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, scalable, cloud-native full-stack applications on Microsoft Azure across UI, API, services, and data layers.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans with architects and senior consultants.
- Own feature delivery from estimation and implementation through testing, code review, deployment, and production support.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrate backend services and data platforms, and address performance and reliability requirements.
- Integrate AI capabilities including search, chat, recommendations, and content generation into applications.
- Implement observability through logging, metrics, traces, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Apply security, compliance, and Responsible AI principles while following Microsoft and customer governance standards.
- Identify technical risks and dependencies, support escalations, and contribute to contingency planning.
- Collaborate with customers, project leads, delivery managers, and account teams to support adoption and customer outcomes.
- Contribute to shared frameworks, reusable intellectual property, engineering practices, automation, testing, and cloud monitoring.
Requirements
- 4–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, .NET Web APIs, Node.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Angular or React.
- Experience building applications across UI, API, service, integration, and data layers.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful services and integrating backend systems.
- Working knowledge of relational and cloud databases including Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or Azure Database for MySQL.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into applications and practical knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and RAG patterns.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, vector search workflows, agent-based patterns, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with prompt engineering and optimization, plus working knowledge of Python for AI workflows or automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure hosting, configuration, and deployment; Git; CI/CD pipelines; and automated build and release processes.
- Understanding of secure application development, authentication, authorization, testing, debugging, and software engineering principles.
- Preferred certifications include MCSD, MCAD, MCSE, AZ-204, AI-900, AI-102, or equivalent cloud and AI certifications.
- Preferred experience includes AI evaluation and tuning, microservices, serverless architectures, Azure Functions, containers, Kubernetes, blue/green or canary releases, observability, Java, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong communication, collaboration, customer engagement, adaptability, continuous learning, and willingness to expand technical ownership.
