Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve, and sustain backend services in Python and/or Golang.
- Create and maintain REST APIs, integrations, and internal tools for the credit marketplace.
- Work on simulation, eligibility, offers, orders, and partner-integration workflows.
- Improve application performance, resilience, observability, and quality.
- Support technical investigations, incident analysis, and corrections in critical environments.
- Develop automated tests and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, Security, Operations, and other technology teams.
- Participate in technical discussions and propose scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- Experience as a backend developer.
- Experience with Python and/or Golang.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Experience with Git and version-control best practices.
- Knowledge of automated testing.
- Ability to work autonomously on medium-complexity tasks.
- Good communication, collaboration, and organizational skills for handling multiple demands.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, or GitLab CI/CD is a differentiator.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring, especially Datadog, including logs, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerts, is a differentiator.
- Experience with distributed systems, critical integrations, or high-volume transactions is a differentiator.
- Experience with financial products, credit, banking, fintechs, or marketplaces is a differentiator.
- Knowledge of application security and secure development practices is a differentiator.
