Responsibilities
- Frame user and product problems and help the squad deliver simple, pragmatic, valuable solutions.
- Lead significant technical deliveries from problem definition through design, implementation, testing, and production operation.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues using monitoring, observability, and data analysis tools.
- Design robust, scalable, and reliable solutions and identify pragmatic technical improvements.
- Improve engineering practices through code reviews, pair programming, documentation, RFCs, and AI-assisted development.
- Mentor and support other engineers through knowledge sharing, actionable feedback, and technical leadership.
- Collaborate with other teams, communicate progress and risks, and contribute to technical content, onboarding, interviews, incident resolution, meetups, and engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 7–8 years of strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong technical expertise combined with product and business understanding.
- Ability to solve complex problems and deliver reliable, pragmatic solutions with ownership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.
