Responsibilities
- Architect AI-powered applications using autonomous and semi-autonomous agentic frameworks.
- Apply AI agents across analysis, design, build, test, deployment, and operations.
- Modernize legacy applications through AI-assisted discovery, transformation, and refactoring.
- Define end-to-end architectures integrating traditional software, LLMs, vector stores, and orchestration.
- Drive AI adoption and AI-driven solution roadmaps across Avanade Regions.
- Contribute to solution planning and design across multidisciplinary and multi-cloud environments.
- Develop accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable agentic AI assets.
- Guide engineering, data, and DevOps teams on AI automation and pipeline integration.
- Support solutioning and critical delivery phases for direct and indirect deals.
- Travel occasionally for high-value client engagements.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong software engineering foundation across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and cloud architecture.
- Expertise in Java or C# as a primary programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Rust, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Proven experience applying agentic AI to modernize legacy systems or build new solutions.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks such as AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or equivalents.
- Experience applying AI agents across requirements, architecture, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and orchestration patterns.
- Strong Azure expertise preferred, with hands-on exposure to AWS and GCP.
- Experience integrating AI into distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- DevOps and MLOps experience, including infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with data engineering, machine learning models, Responsible AI, and enterprise governance.
- Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Cloud, AI engineering, or architecture certifications are a plus.
- Interest in mentoring teams and advancing AI engineering maturity.
