Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build playable ads and interactive creative units from storyboards, design assets, and creative briefs.
- Implement gameplay mechanics, interactive behaviors, transitions, animations, and UX elements.
- Integrate creative assets and ensure reliable performance across supported environments.
- Optimize performance, responsiveness, file size, reliability, and creative quality.
- Implement tracking, analytics, and event instrumentation for creative performance measurement.
- Perform self-QA and resolve issues before delivering production-ready builds.
- Own projects from technical kickoff through final delivery and improve implementation workflows and build quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive experience with front-end architecture and web performance optimization.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
- Expertise with 2D HTML5 game frameworks such as Phaser or CreateJS.
- Experience with 2D and 3D JavaScript frameworks such as PixiJS and ThreeJS.
- Understanding of coordinate systems, geometry, vector math, and pixel-level manipulation using ImageData.
- Experience with the HTML5 Canvas API, render loops, frame rates, animations, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Experience creating responsive layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.
- Experience building efficient asset-loading pipelines for spritesheets, audio sprites, and JSON data.
- Photoshop experience is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and senior-leadership communication skills.

- Toronto starting base pay is $96,400–$130,000 per year; bonus and/or equity may also be included.
