Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for live video capture, processing, and Focus Live user workflows.
- Develop and improve customer-facing client and desktop functionality.
- Build reliable, low-latency, multithreaded, networked software for demanding live football environments.
- Shape product architecture, improve code quality, and implement modern C++ development practices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams through design discussions, code reviews, and technical collaboration.
- Define test cases, write unit tests, and contribute to test automation and the product test strategy.
- Lead features and technical improvements that increase performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing software with modern C++.
- Hands-on experience developing client or desktop applications used by customers or end users.
- Understanding of user workflows and reliable, intuitive product functionality.
- Experience developing high-performance, multithreaded applications.
- Experience with video, real-time processing, or other performance-critical systems.
- Knowledge of unit testing methodologies and tools for maintainable, traceable code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Preferred experience with H.264/H.265, FFmpeg, cross-platform Windows and Linux development, CMake, network programming, distributed systems, real-time data transfer protocols, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.
- Experience working in agile engineering teams delivering production software is preferred.
