Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated Python and/or C++ test frameworks for ADAS software on ECU and bench targets.
- Create test libraries and utilities interfacing with embedded targets and CAN, XCP, Ethernet/TCP/UDP, and diagnostic networks.
- Automate functional, robustness, timing, performance, reliability, and regression testing at component and subsystem levels.
- Develop SIL, HIL, and bench execution workflows for orchestration, stimulus and response control, data capture, and result reporting.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GHA with actionable pass/fail criteria and traceability.
- Build quality-assessment tooling for embedded services, middleware, sensor and feature interfaces, and ECU-to-ECU interactions.
- Convert high-value manual test scenarios into stable automated coverage and reduce test-cycle time.
- Perform root-cause analysis using logs, traces, and network captures and collaborate on defect resolution.
- Contribute to code reviews, test-design reviews, documentation, framework improvements, and lab-infrastructure improvements.
- Influence test strategy and coverage planning for stability, flakiness reduction, and scalability across benches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development and/or test automation experience using Python and/or C++.
- Experience building automated tests that interact with embedded targets, hardware benches, or networked devices.
- Experience with HIL, SIL, and bench testing, including hardware control, flashing/deployment, data collection, and test scheduling.
- Experience with CAN, XCP, UDS, DoIP, TCP/IP, and UDP automotive communication or measurement protocols.
- Ability to debug complex failures using logs, traces, and systematic triage.
- Experience with QNX and/or embedded Linux and embedded software integration concepts.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in an Agile environment.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, Git/GitHub, artifact and version management, Docker, PyTest, test reporting, and dashboarding.
- Preferred familiarity with ADAS behavior and camera, radar, ultrasonic, and LiDAR sensing technologies.
- Preferred experience integrating automation with TestRail, JIRA, test-case management, and defect-tracking systems.
- Preferred experience stabilizing lab automation affected by intermittency, hardware dependencies, and test flakiness.
- Preferred experience collaborating with suppliers and multi-site teams on interfaces and acceptance criteria.
