Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with customers and translate business priorities into Snowflake AI Data Cloud architectures.
- Design and demonstrate solutions using Cortex AI, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streamlit in Snowflake, and secure data sharing.
- Build proofs of concept to validate performance, governance, interoperability, and business value.
- Advise customers on data-platform modernization and migration of analytical workloads to Snowflake.
- Partner with Account Executives, Product Management, Professional Services, and Snowflake partners on account strategies and technical barriers.
- Guide stakeholders on security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI using Snowflake Horizon and related platform controls.
- Influence technical and executive decision makers through architecture narratives, workshops, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Mentor Solutions Engineering peers and contribute field assets, reference architectures, and product feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics, or an equivalent customer-facing technical role.
- Strong foundations in data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and enterprise security.
- Experience leading technical discovery and designing solutions for complex enterprise requirements.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business leaders, and executives.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one major cloud platform.
- Experience influencing customer decisions through consultative problem solving, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead across sales, product, services, partners, and customer teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, Cortex AI, Snowpark, Streamlit in Snowflake, native application development, GenAI architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, model governance, data-platform modernization, enterprise migrations, data governance, security, privacy, regulatory considerations in India, and mentoring technical presales professionals.
