Responsibilities
- Design and develop Dynamics 365 F&O Human Resources solutions and technical designs.
- Build and customize D365 F&O using X++, extensions, Chain of Command, event handlers, forms, tables, classes, workflows, batch processes, and data entities.
- Design and support integrations between D365 and external or internal systems using Azure integration technologies.
- Develop Data Management Framework entities and execute legacy data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
- Implement role-based security, duties, privileges, and data-access controls.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, batch, data, and performance issues and optimize high-volume processing, queries, batch jobs, and integrations.
- Support code reviews, technical design reviews, estimation, builds, deployments, environment management, release readiness, and production support.
- Create technical and deployment documentation and mentor junior developers within an Agile delivery model.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of overall experience with strong relevant experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX technical development.
- Strong hands-on experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions, including expertise in X++ and the D365 extension framework.
- Experience with Visual Studio and D365 development environments.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, branching, builds, work-item management, and deployments.
- Good understanding of Azure integration technologies for enterprise D365 implementations.
- Experience with data migration, high-volume data processing, D365 application lifecycle management, environment management, deployment, and release processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, technical design, and technical documentation skills.
- Experience delivering end-to-end D365 F&O or HRM implementations, including development, integrations, migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to collaborate with functional consultants, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and development teams.
