Responsibilities
- Build ML prototype vertical slices connecting ingest/processing to inference and product outcomes.
- Create evaluation harnesses and decision artifacts including datasets and quality metrics.
- Package prototypes for adoption by containerizing services and producing runbooks.
- Collaborate with Research and Data Engineering on dataset curation and experiment tracking.
- Ensure prototypes are operationally credible with monitoring and compliance considerations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of ML engineering/MLOps experience with evidence of shipping real systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with PyTorch/Transformers.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and containers in production-like environments.
- Strong evaluation discipline and ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly.
- Eligibility to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred.
