Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of the Zero Touch platform.
- Define workflows, APIs, and abstractions for safe infrastructure changes.
- Embed policy-as-code and audit trails into the framework.
- Partner with teams to design secure authentication and authorization patterns.
- Standardize service integration with identity management systems.
- Build reusable security primitives to enhance overall security posture.
- Design dual-cloud infrastructure abstractions for consistent workload management.
- Create scalable, multi-tenant platform services to reduce operational burden.
- Provide architectural leadership for platform and infrastructure initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and improve technical capabilities across teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering focused on infrastructure or reliability engineering.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with public-facing distributed systems and designing for availability.
- Deep familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CI/CD practices.
- Proven experience building platforms that support other engineers.
- Practical experience with identity and access management systems.
- Experience improving security posture in cloud environments.
- Ability to lead through influence in collaborative environments.
- Strong system design and architecture skills.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex systems.
