Sr. Analyst - Tax Integrations

- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external tax engines such as OneSource and Vertex.
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs, enhancements, interfaces, BAdIs, and API-based integrations.
- Connect SAP S/4HANA with cloud platforms such as OneSource and SAP Ariba using REST, SOAP, OData, and middleware tools.
- Manage authentication, error handling, monitoring, payload issues, timeouts, and data mapping mismatches across hybrid integration landscapes.
- Participate in technical design sessions, feasibility studies, proof-of-concept development, and requirements translation.
- Perform unit and integration testing, support transport management and deployments, and maintain technical documentation.
- Communicate technical designs, timelines, and issues while collaborating with functional, business, onshore, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Demonstrated integration development experience with interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, and RFC/API-based integrations.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with external tax engines such as OneSource, Vertex, or similar.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting REST, SOAP, and OData integrations between SAP and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting integrations across on-premise SAP and cloud-based SaaS platforms such as OneSource and Ariba.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include functional tax knowledge, SAP Ariba integration experience, and experience working in a national or global company.
