Responsibilities
- Own and ship end-to-end software features across the full stack, from coding and testing through production release.
- Fix bugs and reduce technical debt while maintaining a quality-first approach.
- Participate meaningfully in code reviews and collaborate with engineering teammates to share context and unblock delivery.
- Use and improve AI tools for code generation, code review, innovation, and quality assurance.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and questions clearly and begin mentoring peers as impact grows.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of software development experience with exposure to full-stack technologies.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular and back-end APIs.
- Ability to apply maintainable coding practices including SOLID, DRY, and KISS.
- Strong interest in developing technical skills and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and CI/CD practices is a bonus.
- Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs and familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling are bonuses.
- Prior experience in payroll, fintech, or HR technology is a bonus.
