Responsibilities
- Execute component, functional, non-functional, performance, load, security, installation, localization, and system-level testing for web, mobile, API, and platform applications.
- Create master test plans, detailed test plans, test cases, and other testing deliverables using manual and automated tools.
- Automate test cases, execute remaining manual tests, investigate failures, log defects, and verify bug fixes.
- Configure and troubleshoot test environments and execute test plans across device, browser, operating system, and viewport combinations.
- Analyze test results, identify coverage gaps, expand test cases, and maintain accurate testing documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve product defects and suggest system designs that improve testability and automation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers and leads in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with good academic performance.
- 8+ years of cloud, mobile, and system testing experience in manual and automated test environments.
- Experience managing QA teams in an Agile work environment for senior roles.
- Experience automating tests with Playwright, Robot, Selenium WebDriver, Python, Ruby, Appium, JMeter, or similar tools or languages.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications, APIs, and embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Experience with test planning, execution, tracking tools, preferably Jira and Confluence, as well as Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to renewable technology companies and familiarity with embedded, telecommunications, hardware, or IoT-based products are desirable.
- Experience with generative AI and LLM tools and AI-assisted testing tools is desirable.
