Base Salary
$181k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
- Lead and mentor engineers while improving code quality, technology practices, and engineering standards.
- Own large or complex technology capabilities and infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
- Drive cross-team execution, identify project risks, and mitigate them to deliver successfully.
- Prioritize technical roadmaps and influence product roadmaps and process improvements.
- Design and build resilient, fault-tolerant systems while reducing failure domains and outage impact.
- Build software and automation that minimizes maintenance effort and business impact during failures.
- Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives for owned systems.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
- Experience contributing significantly to cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
- Experience leading technical contributions and building fault-tolerant, scalable software systems.
- Expertise applying computer science concepts in engineering work.
- Ability to establish standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
- Experience mentoring and training junior engineers.
- Deep production cloud experience with AWS or GCP at scale is preferred.
- Advanced experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Istio, cloud-native security, and networking is preferred.
- Understanding of at least one programming language for developing scripts and software.
- B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent high-level industry experience is preferred.

- Base pay of $180,504-$236,911 per year, plus eligibility for company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
