Responsibilities

  • Design audio tools for sound design and music teams.
  • Develop tools to drive automated build systems.
  • Create audio processing plugins for audio engines.
  • Link game systems to the audio engine.
  • Connect game system authoring tools to sound design tools.
  • Implement complex new audio engine features.
  • Plan, document, and implement audio systems in collaboration with the audio programming team.
  • Support sound design and music production teams with tooling requests and debugging.
  • Ensure code is efficient and bug-free.
  • Debug code to make it release-ready.
  • Provide packaged releases of audio systems.
  • Oversee overall audio tech delivery on shipping game titles.
  • Update and maintain audio middleware.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of production experience and 1 shipped title on console/PC.
  • Passionate about audio and video games.
  • Strong experience in C++ and object-oriented/data-oriented design.
  • Experience in C# .NET and WPF.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D mathematics.
  • Knowledge of acoustics and digital signal processing.
  • Experience with audio production software such as Pro Tools, Sound Forge, and Reaper.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio or other development environments.
