Base Salary
$120k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain product features across UI, APIs, backend services, and supporting infrastructure.
- Deploy machine learning and Generative AI systems into production.
- Provide input into product architecture and design and solve technical problems with the team.
- Write software using paired programming and test-driven development and expand automated test coverage.
- Establish and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Review deployment readiness through automated and manual verification.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support software products in user environments.
- Implement authentication and address security findings, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to team planning, standups, retrospectives, and product strategy.
- Serve as an expert in a business domain and technology stack and coach more junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 4.x+.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience deploying Generative AI and/or machine learning systems into production.
- Experience building GenAI systems is preferred but not required.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Experience with MongoDB schema design, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Experience supporting production applications, monitoring, and incident response.
- Experience implementing authentication with OAuth, OIDC, or SSO.
- Familiarity with observability platforms, logging, and application monitoring.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
