Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database objects for high performance.
- Perform data analysis, data migration, database enhancements, and database performance tuning.
- Create and maintain schemas, views, indexes, sequences, and materialized views.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support application teams during integrations, releases, and deployments.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation and coding standards.
- Provide production support as needed.
Requirements
- Requires 6 to 14 years of IT experience with strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development expertise.
- Hands-on experience with PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, materialized views, database indexing, exception handling, Bulk Collect, and FORALL.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture and experience with Oracle database versions 11g, 12c, 19c, or higher.
- Experience with database design, development, support activities, data modeling concepts, query optimization, and performance bottleneck analysis.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and resolve database-related performance and operational issues.
