Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and Route 53.
- Implement and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for automated infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to build CI/CD pipelines and automate software delivery.
- Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance, cost, security, and reliability.
- Configure AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, DNS, and VPN networks.
- Manage containerized infrastructure and AWS services including RDS, ECS, and S3.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery in the cloud.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues in real time and maintain remote IoT devices.
- Stay current with AWS best practices and emerging cloud technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably with high-transactional and distributed systems.
- Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, and Route 53.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking principles, including DNS, VPCs, and security groups.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Bash and Python scripting.
- Fluency writing SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, and filtering across relational and non-relational datasets.
- Experience managing remote IoT devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effectiveness in a remote and distributed team.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred.
- Experience with Ansible or CloudFormation is preferred.
- Familiarity with CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus is preferred.
