Responsibilities
- Design and maintain build and release pipelines for application and QA teams.
- Manage containerized services and bridge application requirements with cloud infrastructure.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Build and evolve scalable, secure, highly performant backend and microservice systems.
- Implement observability through metrics, centralized logging, and related tooling.
- Apply secure cloud application hardening practices and contribute to architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience designing and building complex backend, distributed, automation, or platform systems.
- 4+ years of experience developing and deploying applications in the cloud.
- Deep proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux systems administration, including systemd, networking, and performance tuning.
- Advanced competency in Python and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, or Splunk for observability.
- Strong understanding of REST, JSON RPC, and secure cloud application hardening.
- Preferred: proficiency in Golang; experience with OpenShift, OpenStack, AWS, ArgoCD, or Flux; and background in network consulting or automated infrastructure testing.
