Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to apply Generative AI to existing software systems and new intelligent features.
- Integrate and deploy Generative AI models and capabilities in production applications.
- Evaluate and select models, tools, and techniques based on performance, cost, maintainability, and business impact.
- Write robust, well-tested code combining traditional software engineering with AI components.
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions and lead design and code reviews.
- Lead multiple sprint teams delivering AI-powered features in distributed application systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to identify opportunities and deliver measurable value.
- Mentor engineers and drive practical AI adoption across software development teams.
- Estimate effort, prioritize AI integration opportunities, and champion operational excellence, scalability, maintainability, and observability.
- Drive technical strategy and vision for multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with relevant cutting-edge or company technologies.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience leading multi-team engineering initiatives in distributed application systems.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Go, C++, or JavaScript.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, design patterns, relational databases, NoSQL, caching, APIs, messaging, data streaming, workflow, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Data Science; 5 or more years of experience in Data Science, NLP, or AI; and 5 or more years working on production conversational AI initiatives.
- Experience with closed- and open-source models and libraries, enterprise platforms, agentic AI, RAG, prompt engineering, human-in-the-loop evaluation, product data analytics, and experimentation is preferred.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
