Responsibilities
- Assess enterprise customers’ Autodesk customization and configuration requirements.
- Design, develop, customize, configure, and integrate full-stack solutions across Autodesk AEC and D&M products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Autodesk APIs, Autodesk Platform Services, SDKs, and extensibility frameworks.
- Design and develop AI/MCP-enabled plugins and solutions connecting AI capabilities with enterprise applications, data, and Autodesk workflows.
- Create business requirements specifications, system architectures, implementation plans, and detailed system designs.
- Estimate effort, lead technical design reviews, establish engineering practices, mentor engineers, and contribute reusable frameworks and accelerators.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications and integrate Autodesk APIs, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical customers, stakeholders, and executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong C#/.NET full-stack web and desktop application development experience.
- Strong knowledge of AEC and/or D&M workflows and domain processes.
- Hands-on experience customizing, configuring, and integrating Autodesk or equivalent industry products using APIs, SDKs, and extensibility frameworks.
- Experience with Autodesk Platform Services and Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and ReactJS experience.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs/Web APIs with ASP.NET/.NET Core.
- Experience with database schema design, SQL queries, Entity Framework, SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and graph databases.
- Experience using Git and Jira.
- Hands-on Generative AI/LLM application development and Model Context Protocol experience.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications with cloud services, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
- Product development experience is a plus.
- Strong customer communication, documentation, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code is desirable.
