Responsibilities

  • Plan and design test methodologies for cloud-based enterprise-grade wireless networks.
  • Work with functional groups to develop test strategies and execute tests.
  • Perform thorough testing of cloud-based wireless product features and solutions.
  • Identify defects promptly and collaborate with developers to debug, determine root causes, and close issues.
  • Recommend software improvements that enhance user experience.
  • Coordinate with the automation team to develop feature-automation test scripts.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 12 years of experience in networking domains including VLANs, switches, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
  • 3 to 12 years of experience with Wi-Fi 802.11 technology and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Proven experience with NMS and/or cloud-managed enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on experience with RF equipment, tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
  • Testbed setup experience.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi 11ax and 6E products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch is a plus.
