Responsibilities
- Plan and design test methodologies for cloud-based enterprise wireless networks.
- Work with functional groups to develop test strategies and execute tests.
- Thoroughly test cloud-based wireless product features and solutions.
- Identify defects, collaborate with developers on debugging and root-cause analysis, and drive defects to closure.
- Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience.
- Coordinate with the automation team to develop feature-automation test scripts.
- Set up testbeds and use RF equipment, tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 3 to 12 years of experience in the networking domain, including VLANs, switches, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
- 3 to 12 years of experience with Wi-Fi 802.11 technology and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
- Proven experience with NMS and/or cloud-managed enterprise networks.
- Hands-on experience with RF equipment, tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON data.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira infrastructure tools.
- Testbed setup experience is required.
- Experience with Wi-Fi 11ax and 6e products is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch is a plus.
