Responsibilities
- Plan and execute quality engineering activities, including test strategies, plans, cases, and scenarios.
- Review requirements and technical designs to identify quality risks and develop testing strategies.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across platforms and devices.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and automated test suites.
- Develop automated UI and API tests.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and collaborate on resolutions.
- Document, track, and verify defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor automated test executions and CI/CD jobs and communicate quality status, risks, and blockers.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and QE teams on test planning, execution, and release readiness.
- Improve test coverage, automation, tooling, and quality engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years or equivalent experience in UI automation for web applications.
- Experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript, C++, or another programming language.
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, or UI automation technologies.
- Experience testing APIs, libraries, SDKs/application frameworks, and native applications.
- Experience with at least one modern web application framework.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and independent-working skills.
