Responsibilities
- Analyze underwriting and business requirements and design automated underwriting rules for client and market needs.
- Develop, configure, maintain, and document Magnum rules using visual rule editors and supported scripting capabilities.
- Apply software engineering and automation principles to create scalable, maintainable, reusable rule solutions.
- Design and execute unit, integration, regression, scenario, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate underwriting outcomes, analyze defects, support release readiness, and perform production validation.
- Provide Magnum subject matter expertise, support production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze production outcomes and underwriting data to improve rule performance and platform quality.
- Collaborate with implementation teams, underwriters, architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
- Lead project implementation, monitor the full product delivery lifecycle, mentor colleagues, and promote knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of hands-on professional experience.
- Hands-on experience in business rule development and testing, ideally in automated underwriting systems or similar rule-based platforms.
- Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript; SQL knowledge is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and experience delivering in iterative environments.
- Experience with Magnum or similar automated underwriting platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency with UiPath or other RPA and automation platforms is preferred.
- Practical experience using AI and Generative AI tools for software development, testing, documentation, and engineering productivity is preferred.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Office tools is preferred.
- Experience spanning business analysis, rule development, testing, and production support is preferred.
- Ability to mentor and coach colleagues and collaborate across distributed global teams is preferred.

- Monthly base salary range of EUR 2,100–3,400, plus performance-based variable compensation.
