Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and support application features using Angular, Node.js, SQL, AWS, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain user interface components, APIs, database integrations, and backend services for the Vector, TREQS, and VALET platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, team members, and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and apply development standards, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, database objects, and data integrations.
- Implement cloud-based solutions and integrations using AWS services.
- Create and execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot application defects, support production issues, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.
- Document technical solutions, processes, and application changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing web applications with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Node.js and API development.
- Working knowledge of SQL development, data modeling, and relational databases.
- Experience developing or supporting applications in AWS or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile practices.
- Knowledge of software design principles, coding standards, and application security fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal communication, written communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with enterprise business applications; workforce, vendor, financial, or resource management solutions; automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Jest; APIs, system integrations, and data exchange; AI-assisted development tools; and modern web architectures.
- Preferred familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and emerging technologies.
