Base Salary
$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with business owners and product leaders to understand workflows, select high-value problems, define success criteria, and sequence delivery.
- Build prototypes and refine requirements through user feedback and evidence.
- Develop production software across user experiences, services, agents, data access, and enterprise integrations.
- Implement permissions, provenance, structured outputs, approval steps, evaluations, regression tests, monitoring, recovery paths, and deployment controls.
- Investigate production issues and balance quality, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Lead rollout, training, feedback collection, documentation, support models, and measurement of business outcomes.
- Lead technical decisions, review architecture, mentor engineers, improve code and design reviews, and create reusable components.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience independently delivering complex production software from ambiguous problem definition through launch and iteration.
- Deep programming and system-design skills in Python, Java, TypeScript, or comparable languages.
- Experience building cloud services, integrating APIs and data systems, and debugging reliability and performance issues across system boundaries.
- Practical experience building AI-enabled applications or agents, including retrieval, tool execution, evaluations, and output validation.
- Strong product judgment and communication skills when working with nontechnical partners.
- Staff-level technical leadership through ownership of complex capabilities, cross-team influence, design and code reviews, and mentoring.
- Experience with enterprise workflows, full-stack product development, SaaS integrations, or secure agent deployment is valuable; prior FDE or consulting experience is not required.
