Base Salary
$186k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build GenAI proofs of concept using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks to translate ambiguous business problems into software solutions.
- Lead delivery of complex AI applications, transitioning prototypes into production-grade multi-agent systems and MCP servers.
- Partner with product management and business stakeholders to create tool and product roadmaps for YouTube business operations.
- Author technical designs, write maintainable code, build front ends, and deliver systems from scoping through deployment.
- Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to address data readiness, system integration, state management, accuracy, safety, compliance, and latency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 9 years of experience building APIs or web applications and designing scalable microservice or system architectures, including backend data pipelines, distributed systems, and data privacy.
- 8 years of full-stack development experience using one or more programming languages, with practical experience building enterprise-grade applied AI solutions.
- 4 years of experience working with teams and business stakeholders to create product roadmaps.
- 4 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes SRE, InfoSec, or DevOps; LLM evaluation pipelines; observability; LLM-native metrics; vulnerability testing; security auditing; AI safety guardrails; enterprise AI data infrastructure; multi-agent systems; MCP; orchestration frameworks; GTM, sales workflows, or CRMs; and driving adoption of zero-to-one AI products.
