Responsibilities
- Plan, build, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and document high-quality full-stack software using Agile delivery practices.
- Design and develop backend services with Java and Spring Boot and front-end applications with modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Build and operate cloud-ready AWS services using container-based and serverless patterns such as ECS/EKS and Lambda.
- Apply monitoring, logging, alerting, security, resiliency, and observability practices to deployed applications.
- Perform code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD activities, secure coding, and dependency-aware solution design.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating their outputs.
- Share reusable engineering patterns and learning to improve team effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of applied software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and React or Angular.
- Practical experience building and deploying applications on AWS in mixed container and serverless environments, including monitoring and logging.
- Experience with Git, build tools, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application resiliency, and security fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude Code, including validating outputs for correctness, performance, security, and data sensitivity.
- A positive attitude, continuous-learning mindset, adaptability, and willingness to collaborate.
- Preferred: a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native development patterns, UX concepts including responsive design and accessibility, and microservice architecture.
